Who we are, in procurement terms

It is a small company. That is stated plainly because it is relevant to how you evaluate us: we are appropriate for defined pieces of work with clear scope and direct technical ownership, as a specialist subcontractor within a larger programme, or as a delivery partner alongside an in-house team. We are not appropriate for a multi-year programme requiring a hundred-person delivery organisation, and we will say so rather than bid for one.

Engagement models

We are prepared to contract under any of the following. Which one fits depends on how well defined the requirement is and where accountability needs to sit.

Fixed-scope project: A defined specification, acceptance criteria, milestones and a fixed price, with change controlled in writing.
Managed delivery: Astri Devs takes responsibility for planning and delivering an agreed outcome over a defined period.
Prime contractor: Astri Devs contracts directly with the buying organisation and holds accountability for the whole delivery.
Subcontractor: Astri Devs delivers a defined technical workstream beneath another supplier or systems integrator.
Delivery partner: Longer-term technical partnership alongside an in-house team, with clearly separated responsibilities.
Support and maintenance: Ongoing support for a system Astri Devs built, or took over, under agreed response arrangements.
Technology supply and integration: Supply of specified hardware, software or communications technology, integrated and handed over as a working solution.

The following can be provided during a procurement where it is applicable to the requirement. Where a document does not yet exist, we will say so rather than promise it.

Subcontractors and delivery partners

Where a requirement needs a specialism Astri Devs does not hold in-house, Astri Devs works with specialist delivery partners and subcontractors while retaining clear commercial and delivery accountability. The buying organisation contracts with ASTRI DEVS LTD and deals with ASTRI DEVS LTD.

Proposed subcontractors are identified during procurement rather than introduced after award, and are checked for legal identity, relevant experience, confidentiality and data protection obligations before they are given access to anything.

What our work demonstrates

Our portfolio is commercial rather than public-sector, and we are not going to pretend a consumer application is a government programme. What it does evidence is the engineering capability behind it, which is the part that transfers.
